Sam finished it on November 3 and had his review in the log the same day. I've noted the turnaround, since it is not his usual pace. His field notes follow.
Osman found his stride with these characters. Book 1 had to set everyone up, so this one gets to be more straightforward, and I got through it far faster.
The ending is great, and so is the double meaning of the title. I loved the humor in characters like Connie, the local drug dealer, and Lance's hair transplant was fantastic. Ibrahim's arc was great, and Joyce got her dog.
One twist got me completely. I'm on to book 3.
